The mission of the Young Advisors Team (YAT) is to sow the value of membership with new and young advisors, so they are empowered to survive their first years in the business, to grow into involved NAIFA members and become successful advisors who thrive in the industry and our association.

The mission of (LILI) Leadership in Life Institute is to develop leadership by fostering personal growth, enhancing business practices and developing skills necessary for effective leadership. LILI is a six-month leadership development course offered exclusively to NAIFA members. The curriculum includes creating a business plan, exploring tools to improve your practice and techniques to enhance interpersonal relationships – all for a fraction of cost of other certificate programs.
LUTCF – Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow – established in 1984 and since then more than 50,000 LUTCF Designations have been conferred. LUTCF continues to be the proven designation for agents and advisors by providing valuable industry specific training.
Course Requirements – effective January 2015 the LUTCF course curriculum has been completely reengineered and now encompass three required courses – each nine weeks in length – in order for the designation to be conferred.

Program Requirements – All participants in the NAIFA DE FastTrack LUTCF program are required to be members in good standing of NAIFA. Program registration can be made through the NAIFA website at the LUTCF link – www.naifa.org. Cost of full program to be announced soon.
Student Incentives – All students will be eligible to receive a $450 certificate which can be used for their participation in NAIFA DE’s (LILI) Leadership in Life Institute which is a 6 months holistic leadership development program. For additional information about the institute please log onto www.naifa.org/lili. Students who are YAT’s (Young Advisor Team) which are those that are under the age of 40 or have been in the financial services business for less than 5 years – will also be eligible to apply for the Carl Hill Scholarship which provides funds for agents/advisors to continue to pursue their professional education and designations. In order to be eligible for these incentives students must complete the LUTCF designation through the NAIFA DE FastTrack LUTCF. Students will be required to have a minimum of 80% class attendance throughout the program. Only those students that are members of NAIFA DE in good standing will be eligible for the incentives above.
